The former Tonhallen site in the small town of Villingen-Schwenningen in the Black Forest has lain empty for 20 years. The authorities expect this new development to both revitalize the town center and create a significant architectural bridge between the old town and the banks of the River Brigach. The decision-makers in the urban planning development process were convinced by the concept submitted by ATP Munich and the project developer S&P Commercial Development GmbH, a company of the Sontowski & Partner Group.

The powerful and rigorously realized concept of ALEJA shopping center in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, which was integrally designed with BIM by ATP, has created the perfect platform for around 80 shops. And with its rooftop leisure, sporting, and recreational zone and trendy food court the building, which is innovative in both technical and architectural terms, also gives space back to the city.

In Mannheim, where ABB Deutschland was established 120 years ago, ATP Frankfurt is now planning a multifunctional building for agile and customer-oriented work. The building, with a gross floor area of 24,000 m² should provide a home to around 1,200 employees – from operative teams, the research center, and service divisions.

With its compelling and meticulously realized concept, the newly-opened ALEJA shopping center in the Slovenian capital of Ljubljana, which was designed by ATP architects engineers (Innsbruck), offers the perfect platform for international and local labels in around 80 shops with a total of 32,000 m² of lettable space. With its rooftop leisure, sport, and relaxation areas and its stylish food court, the technically and architecturally innovative building responds to the competition from online retailers while also giving space back to the surrounding urban district.

New Year Celebrations: On the first Friday of the new decade, Dario Travaš, Partner and Managing Director of ATP in Zagreb and Head of Design of ATP in Vienna, presented the competition-winning concept by Vienna’s D&R Studio – in cooperation with ATP Zagreb and supported by ATP sustain – for a 4-star hotel. Positioned at the southwestern gateway to the city it should sustainably transform its busy urban setting.
