Press Release  (2455 character)

ATP architects engineers Frankfurt has been managed by an integrated leadership duo since October 2002: The architect Matthias Koch now heads the 80-strong team at the integrated design office in Frankfurt am Main alongside the construction engineer and BIM expert Harald Stieber. Thanks to his extensive expertise, he meets all the requirements for further strengthening the ATP brand in the Frankfurt Region.

“I’m convinced by the superiority of the integrated design approach supported by a digital BIM model. Because sustainable, forward-looking buildings demand close interdisciplinary cooperation between architects and engineers,” says Matthias Koch about his choice of a career with ATP.

Career so far
After studying architecture at the Universities of Kaiserslautern and Edinburgh, Matthias Koch worked with the architectural offices AS Plan in Kaiserslautern and Kalmbacher & Ludwig in Frankfurt am Main. He then spent over 17 years with KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten, most recently as head of the Frankfurt office. He has many years of experience of designing offices for private and public clients as well as hotels, housing projects, retail properties, and buildings for research and teaching.

“Thanks to my esteemed colleague Matthias Koch, we in Frankfurt are now perfectly positioned to establish ourselves as an integrated designer of innovative and sustainable buildings in the Rhein-Main Region and beyond. Our plan is to expand our previous expertise in office and mixed-use buildings and district development even further and to provide the laboratory, pharmaceuticals, and high-level industrial sectors with forward-looking solutions,” says Managing Director Harald Stieber.

ATP Frankfurt is one of the 12 integrated design offices of ATP architects engineers. With over 1,200 employees, the ATP Group is Europe’s leading integrated design company. Integrated design with BIM is a key requirement for lifecycle-oriented buildings, saving resources, and avoiding waste. ATP Frankfurt specializes in the design of complex building projects in the areas of offices and administration, production, multifunctional centers, and teaching and research.
